ملاحظة هذه اللفة خلال الشهر سوف لا تؤثّر على الربح أو الخسارة - إن أيّ تعديلات ضرورية ستجري للتعويضع على التغييرات في السعر بسبب أللفة.

مثلاً:

إن سوق اللفة في النفط من 79,15 إلى 80,25 دولار ذلك يدل على إرتفاع السعر  وقدرها 1،10 ( أي 110 نقطة ) وفي هذه الحاله ، قد يؤخذ المبلغ من العقد اللونغ أما فقد تدفع للعقد الشورت ما يعادل المبلغ للعقد. والتي من شأنها أن تساوي 1100 في الحساب إستندر ,و110 في الحساب الصغير للعقد الواحد

في حال هبوط السوق الى الأسفل عند اللفة عكس الإجراءات ستتخذ :يؤخذ المبلغ من العقد الشورت أما فقد تدفع للعقد اللونغ
