Customize Columns

Columns in any window can be hidden or displayed by right-clicking on the header row and selecting "columns":

You will then see a list of all columns in whichever window you have selected:

To hide a column, remove the checkmark and then close the "columns" box with the red "x".  The column can always be added again by right-clicking on the header row, selecting "columns", and placing a checkmark next to the column.

This functionality allows you to eliminate columns with information that you find you do not use and maintain a customized interface.
