Login - Demo Trading

GCI GlobalTrader software can be launched from your "Start" button or the desktop icon.  Once the software is launched, you will see the login prompt as displayed below:

Enter your User Name and Password exactly as you have received it (noting whether letters are upper or lower case).  If you do not yet have a User Name and Password, you can get one by registering on the GCI website here, or clicking the "Get a User Name and Password" link on the login prompt.

Once you have this information input correctly, click on "Connect" and you will be connected and ready to trade within seconds. 

You will notice that you can adjust connection settings by clicking on the "Settings>>" button.   Which displays a more detailed login prompt as below:

For demo trading, you will generally NOT need to click on this button and it is inadvisable to change these settings.  IP should remain on "Demo Server" and Port should remain on 2080.

Login - Live Trading

Live Trading uses the same software as demo trading.  Live trading clients will have received a Live Trading User Name and Password from GCI's back office after funding their account and submitting an application (www.gcitrading.com/gtaccount).  Before logging into Live Trading, be sure to change the IP to "Live Server":

All other settings can remain the same.
