How to Read the Specifications
Each column tells you something different. Here's what to look at and why it matters.
Symbol
The ticker as it appears in your platform — e.g. EURUSD, XAUUSD, US30. Use it to search inside cTrader, MT4/5, or ActTrader.
Spread
The cost of entering a trade — the difference between bid and ask, expressed in pips or points. Lower is better.
Margin %
The collateral required to open one lot. A 0.25% margin means $250 collateral per $100,000 of notional value (400:1 leverage).
Trading Hours
When the instrument is open for trading, in GMT/server time. Forex runs 24/5; indices and shares follow their underlying exchange.
