Account Deletion Policy

At GCI, we respect your privacy and data rights. If you no longer wish to use our services, you have the right to delete your trader account and all associated personal information.

This page explains how you can request full deletion of your account in compliance with Google Play’s Data Deletion Requirements..

What happens when you delete your account?

Once your account is deleted:

  • Your profile, trading history, and personal data will be permanently erased
  • You will no longer be able to access the app using your account credentials
  • The action is irreversible

How to request account deletion

You can request account deletion in the following ways:

1. From within the app:

  1. Open the GCI app
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Tap “Delete Account” and follow the confirmation steps

2. From the website:

Visit:
https://www.gcitrading.com/delete-request (example link — update as needed)

Complete the short deletion form. You will need to verify your identity by:

  • Logging into your account
  • Confirming a verification code sent to your registered email

3. Via direct email request:

Email us at: [email protected]
Include:

  • Your full name
  • Registered email or account ID
  • Subject line: “Account Deletion Request”

Deletion Timeframe

After receiving a verified deletion request:

  • We process deletion within 7 business days
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your data is fully erased

Exceptions

In some cases, we may retain limited data if:

  • Required by financial or regulatory laws (e.g., for anti-money laundering, taxation, or legal obligations)
  • Needed for dispute resolution or fraud prevention (per our Privacy Policy)
